Chickasaw Basic (Anompa)

Language learning built for the Chickasaw Nation

iOSAndroidWeb

Overview

Chickasaw Basic (Anompa) is a language-learning platform we developed for the Chickasaw Nation. It supports language preservation through interactive educational content, audio-based lessons, assessments and mobile learning. Learners use it on web and mobile; administrators manage all of the content behind it.

The Challenge

Preserving a language takes authentic audio, structured lessons and honest progress tracking. It also takes an admin system the Nation could use to manage and grow the content themselves, on their own timeline — and everything had to work on mobile and web alike.

What GTS Built

GTS built a cross-platform learning experience: interactive audio-based lessons, pronunciation practice, vocabulary building, quizzes and progress tracking. An admin management portal and learning analytics sit underneath, so the content library keeps growing.
