Food Truck Fans is a dual-sided marketplace connecting users with mobile food vendors in real time. It offers location tracking, menu discovery, event booking, and vendor-driven promotions across major U.S. cities. The platform delivers tangible value to both food lovers and truck owners.
The Challenge
Food lovers and mobile vendors had no reliable way to find each other in real time as trucks moved between locations. Vendors needed tools to drive foot traffic and monetize, while users wanted live menus, alerts, and the ability to book trucks for events. The solution had to stay accurate and low-latency even in patchy-connectivity areas.
What GTS Built
GTS built a cross-platform Flutter app backed by Firebase, integrating both Google Maps and Apple Maps for live truck locations. The platform pairs real-time location sharing and instant menu updates with subscription-based event requests, push ad campaigns, and a vendor analytics dashboard. Offline mode keeps both sides functional in low-connectivity areas.
