The Challenge
International buyers, expatriates, and travelers struggled to shop across borders and send gifts without friction from currency barriers and trust concerns. Cross-border transactions demanded secure multi-currency payments and reliable merchant verification. The platform also needed to keep users engaged through deals, wishlists, and local event discovery.
What GTS Built
GTS built a React Native app backed by a Node.js and MySQL stack with secure multi-currency payments and QR code-based verification for safe transactions. The platform includes buy-as-a-gift flows, wishlists, trending deals, and an admin panel for product, order, and merchant management. The architecture is built to scale for seamless global expansion.
