The Challenge
Shopping across borders is a mess of currency barriers and trust problems — especially for expatriates and travelers trying to send gifts home. Cross-border transactions needed secure multi-currency payments and merchant verification people could rely on. Deals, wishlists, and local event discovery had to keep users coming back too.
What GTS Built
GTS built a React Native app on Node.js and MySQL, with secure multi-currency payments and QR code-based verification keeping transactions safe. Buy-as-a-gift flows, wishlists, and trending deals are built in, and an admin panel handles products, orders, and merchants. The architecture's ready to scale as the platform goes global.
