Overview
The Academix is a mobile learning platform that puts a student's whole workload in one place — managing courses, joining live lectures, keeping their studies on track. It closes the gap between students and educators with a learning environment that's easy to pick up and genuinely full-featured.
The Challenge
Students and educators wanted one mobile-first platform that could run live classes, handle coursework, and track progress without falling over when engagement spiked. Grading and attendance were still manual, and they were eating up educators' time.
What GTS Built
GTS built a cross-platform Flutter app on Node.js and MySQL. It handles live and recorded lectures, course management with progress tracking, digital assignments with grading, and messaging between students and teachers. The backend was tuned for performance, so several live sessions can run at once without trouble.
