IoT livestock tracking & geofencing platform
Overview
Trackology NordSense is an IoT-powered livestock tracking and farm-management platform built around GPS-enabled NordSense devices and AWS cloud infrastructure. It lets farmers and ranchers track livestock in real time, monitor health indicators, create geofences and receive intelligent alerts through mobile and web apps.
The Challenge
Livestock roam across large, remote areas with patchy connectivity. The platform had to ingest data from GPS devices reliably, render it on live maps, and alert ranchers the moment an animal crossed a boundary or showed distress.
What GTS Built
GTS delivered an end-to-end IoT stack: GPS devices communicate over MQTT into an AWS backend, with real-time GPS tracking, geofencing, historical playback and movement analytics surfaced through a device-management dashboard and interactive maps on both mobile and web.
