Overview
Zeitview Inspect® gives solar site technicians a way to inspect, verify, and close out thermal anomalies in photovoltaic (PV) systems. Aerial thermography reports get paired with on-site verification, navigation, and real-time collaboration. The app has passed 1K+ downloads.
The Challenge
Aerial thermography would flag a problem, and then the hard part started: technicians had to locate the affected asset in the field, document the anomaly, and coordinate with teammates — all tracked by hand, slowly, with plenty of room for error. Maintenance and warranty records kept drifting out of date.
What GTS Built
GTS built a React Native app on a PHP and MySQL backend, with WebSockets and GPS mapping. Technicians verify thermal anomalies against Zeitview's aerial reports, navigate straight to the asset by GPS, and work with their team in real time. A live performance dashboard with alerts rounds it out. Anomalies get resolved faster now, and the data's more accurate.
